Robin Koch, R.N., is the kind of high quality nurse that a Magnet hospital attracts. She combines her excellent professional skills with a caring heart at the Center for Healthy Aging at Lehigh Valley Hospital. And because she’s a great nurse, she’s a great nurse all the time, not just during her workday. Four years ago, Robin Koch happened to meet a group of older men who gather each morning at McDonald’s in Walnutport. Now, she joins them before 7 almost every morning. She socializes, answers health questions, reminds the men to get their flu shots, and even brings homemade treats. She looks out for the McDonald’s staff, too.
